Girl airlifted to hospital after being hit by car
AN eight-year-old girl has been flown by helicopter to the Lady Cilento Hospital in Brisbane after being hit by a car in Dalby this afternoon.
Emergency Services were called to the scene on the corner of Drayton Street and Condamine Street just after 12.30pm.
The young girl sustained head injuries and a foot injury after being hit by a utility.
The young girl was taken to the Dalby Hospital via ambulance after the incident.
Dalby Police and the Forensic Crash Unit are currently investigating the scene, with Drayton Street shut in both directions between Condamine Street and Pratten Street.
Two other children have been struck by cars on Drayton St, Dalby, in recent months.
Shykarn Latham was killed after being struck by a van on the street in early March.
A second boy was hit on March 13.
