Darling Downs dad killed in horror motorbike smash
A DARLING Downs town will farewell a friend who never hesitated to help and a man who loved and supported his family to the end.
Scott Anthony Pukallus, known to most as "Pue", will be remembered as a hard-working country bloke with a passion for adventure motorbike rides, contract harvesting and his family - wife Kylie and sons Beau and Lincoln.
"He loved his motorbikes - always rode a bike since he could walk," eldest son Beau Pukallus said.
"He was always out to help people when they needed it.
"He meant the world to my brother and myself and after mum had a bike accident when we were really young, he supported her as well."
Born and raised in Millmerran, Pue indulged in his passion for KTM Adventure Rides with his mates and had travelled around the country on his motorbike.
He was killed in a three-vehicle crash on the NSW Central Coast on August 16, after a car crossed onto the wrong side of the road, colliding with his motorbike. He was 44.
A contract harvester, Pue worked around the Millmerran district, striking a chord with clients and farmers for his attention to detail and work ethic.
Hundreds are expected to show their support and share memories of Pue.
"There was nothing he couldn't do," Beau said.
"And (he was) very particular about everything he did - he wouldn't cut corners (and) everything had to be perfect.
"He was well-known by everyone and will be deeply missed."
The community is invited to the funeral at St John's Lutheran Church in Millmerran at 10.30am tomorrow.
