A unique cafe which opened at Moffat Beach this week is bringing all the puppies to the yard with its special pet-friendly menu.

Molly and Co Cafe opened on Tuesday just metres from the popular dog beach, and is already proving to be a hit with locals.

Owners Stephanie Avellaneda and Matthew Byrne moved to the Coast from Brisbane earlier this year for a sea-change, and jumped at the chance to open their dream business.

“It’s been my dream, and it’s finally come true,” Ms Avellaneda said.

“We used to have a farm … and we’ve fostered dogs before.

“We just absolutely love animals, especially dogs.”

The couple named the cafe after their one-and-a-half-year-old staffy, Molly, who’s loving the attention and being able to socialise with all the visiting pups.

Ms Avellaneda said they’d been impressed with the response so far, with coffee-lovers loving being able to let their dogs socialise and play.

The cafe is complete with a puppy play pen, a menu of puppuccino and dog biscuits, as well as human-friendly coffees, cakes and sandwiches, bubble tea and more.

Die-hard dog lovers will also soon be able to host their own puppy birthday parties at the cafe in the coming months.

Molly and Co is located on Roderick St, Moffat Beach.
