An 800 metre exclusion zone was established south of Drillham yesterday after a semi-trailer carrying a load of chemical rolled.

Dulacca Police Station Officer-in-Charge Senior Constable Greg Robson said a 33-year-old man was transporting Granulock Z Urea between properties at about 2.30pm yesterday when the truck rolled after he failed to navigate a bend on Drillham South Rd between Harphams Rd and Luckies Lane.

Snr Con Robson said the man suffered non-life threatening facial injuries, including lacerations and a broken nose, and was taken to Miles Hospital and later transferred to Toowoomba Hospital for further assessment.

Senior Constable Rodney Quinn from Miles Police Station said QFES Dalby command attended the scene and the area was deemed safe by around 7pm.
