TOP 10: The comic book movies you must watch
GOT plans this weekend?
How about binging on the best comic book movies before seeing Suicide Squad in cinemas?
Here's our list of the superhero films you need to see.
The Dark Knight
Who can resist the frightening performance of Heath Ledger's Joker?
Ryan Reynolds' performance perfectly portrays the anti-hero in all his glory in a very adult-contented movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy
This spectacular movie was both brilliant on cast as it was on special effects.
Captain America: Civil War
Chris Evans (Steve Rogers) won our hearts over in his very first movie as a devoted soldier. Bringing the whole gang back for one of the biggest fights of 2016 was nothing short of epic.
Enough said. Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine.
Marvels: The Avengers
This star-studded cast perfectly portrayed superheroes at their best and worst when working as a team. Not to mention, it was probably one of the only movies where the villain had some dimension!
For anyone who can remember the 90s, Wesley Snipes was one bad-ass day-walker vampires feared. The trilogy was a blood-fest that quenched the thirst of action movie goers across the globe.
Man of Steel
It's not easy to make a film about one of the most non-relatable heroes of all time, but Man of Steal was definitely a movie I admired. Beautifully casted and breath-taking special effects make this film worth watching.
Who could forget the iconic Spiderman kiss and who hasn't attempted it? Toby Maguire's sweet and sincerity exposed Peter Parker's sensitive side to win the audience over hands down.
That epic scene when Tony Stark (aka Robert Downey Jr) blasts open the doors he's been held captive in with his roughly built iron suit was worth the applause given on the big screen.
X-men: Days of Future Past
A personal favourite from the X-men franchise. This film was also beautifully casted with strong actors, amazing visual effects and a strong, powerful story-line mutant fans have come to expect.
