Dinner and a show
LIVE in the Chinchilla RSL Memorial Club bistro on Friday night will be David Barry.
Enjoy the entertainment with a meal and welcome in the weekend from 7.30pm.
Table bookings are essential, so please call ahead on 4662 7196. Also on the night will be the weekly member draws. Dinner starts at 6pm.
Fusions on the Field
THE wait for Chinchilla's first ever music festival is finally over.
Tomorrow the landmark event, Fusions on the Fields will blast off at Bulldog Park from 5pm, featuring Triple J's morning host Alex Dyson.
While ARIA-nominated band, Kingswood will be headlining the event, another seven bands will also be on the cards to give you the full bang for your buck with the music running all night long.
Tickets can either be purchased for $48 in advance through www.fusionsonthefield.com.au or from Meraki Espresso (43 Chinchilla St), or for $58 at the gate. Children under 10 free.
A courtesy bus will be operating throughout the night.

Chinchilla Races
IF YOU thought Fusions on the Field on Friday night was a big enough event for a Chinchilla weekend then you thought wrong.
On Saturday the sun, fun and good times will be carrying on with Chinchilla Race Club's annual November Races.
Gates open at 11am, first race is at 1.30pm and after the horses are tucked up in bed for the night following the final race at 4pm, the after-party will kick off with DJ Diaz until midnight.
Entry is $15 per person and group bookings (up to 10) are available in the marquee.
A courtesy bus will be running throughout the day and night between the Club Hotel, Commercial Hotel and the Racecourse.
Clothing sale
HAVEN'T been able to find an outfit for Saturday's Races yet? Don't stress, the Chinchilla Uniting Church has got you covered thanks to their monthly pre-loved clothing sale which is this Saturday from 9 until 11.30am.
Mini-rail ride
AS IF there wasn't enough on this weekend, Chinchilla Museum is joining the fun too with their mini-rail operating for the kids (and the big kids).
The ride will run from the new time of 4pm on Sunday. Chinchilla Museum is located on Villiers St.
